This year our shoe selection prominently features shoes with a “chunky” silhouette – pieces that are sturdy, and often feature Vibram rubber soles. We think that’s a great pairing with Fall’s more moderate pant silhouettes, as well as being very practical for everyday wear.

Check out the latest from John Varvatos, Barrett, Noah Waxman, Santoni, and more in store now!

John Varvatos *USA* – $245…This shoe is all leather, with cool contrasting stitching on the sole in JV’s signature Red-White-Blue motif. This is a great shoe for Seattle – it hides dirt and bounces back from water easily.

John Varvatos *USA* – $298…One of two sneaker-boots we’ve received this season, this style has canvas sides and a slightly chunky sole – a great style with a slim jean.

John Varvatos *USA* – $298….Our other JV sneaker-boot is a black/brown crackled leather, which reads as slightly dressier than the other model.

John Varvatos Collection – $498…This chukka boot is from JV’s handmade collection and is finished in oiled suede – an excellent material for Seattle, because of its resilience in inclement weather. Translation: you won’t hurt this shoe, no matter how hard you try.

Barrett – $595…This tumbled leather cap-toe is a gorgeous addition to a tailored wardrobe, and looks great with a wide variety of pants, from suit trousers to a slim stovepipe.

Noah Waxman “Gotham II” – $375…The Gotham II is this year’s update of last year’s style – a very successful piece for Noah and for Butch Blum. Updates include contrasting laces, and leather trim around the eyelets. This year’s model is also finished with a grey sole – many clients preferred less contrasting materials.

Noah Waxman “Highgate” monkstrap – $535…The “Highgate” monkstrap is perfect for trend right fashionistas and conservative classic-minded folks alike. The silhouette won’t date at all, and it has just enough pop (thanks to the kicky heel-plate in contrasting leather) to look completely different from anything else out there.

Noah Waxman

Noah Waxman “Lone Star” chukka – $545…Noah Waxman’s American factory produces chunky, traditional styles with modern updates – this take on a classic Red Wing boot is ultra-light, thanks to the foam rubber sole. The Goodyear welting on the sides ensures you’ll be able to re-sole this shoe forever without changing the upper!

Noah Waxman “Silverlake” – $450…The Silverlake is another All-American shoe from Noah’s US production, featuring Goodyear welted soles and a buttery soft caramel brown upper.
